The typical sequence of operation of a Lexco die handler includes:
Our die handler equipment includes a die handler attachment assembly attached to one of our standard mobile lift tables. A wide range of standard sizes and options are available to suit the customer's specific material handling requirements. Its rugged construction consists of a heavy-duty welded steel frame. The table top is guided by exceptionally rigid telescoping guide tubes. These die handlers are designed to last for decades with very little maintenance in the most demanding environments. Our equipment is engineered with ergonomics and productivity in mind. The high capacity hydraulic system allows the operator to quickly and safely raise the die. Manual foot operated and AC or DC electric hydraulic options are available. The hanger/clamp assembly's position is adjustable along the length of the boom. Clamps are machined from 3.5" x 3.5" x 4.5" steel blocks and use a large set screw to securely attach to the upper die half. An optional indexing mechanism can allow the operator to lock the rotation of the upper die half. The equipment can be equipped with a tow bar to provide mobility when coupled to a tow capable vehicle such as a forklift. High capacity, large diameter steel or poly-steel casters provide low rolling resistance over most surfaces. The position of the equipment can be anchored through its telescoping floor locks. Many options are available to improve ergonomics and productivity. Easier on/off load transfer through conveyor or ball transfer roller tops and manual or electric hydraulic push pull mechanisms. Fork pockets in the tabletop provide clearance for fork lift forks to quickly and safely place a die on the die handler lift platform. Standard sizes and capacities range from 30" x 30" to 30" x 60" tops and 2000 to 4000 lbs. Custom sizes and capacities are possible for your specific needs. Lexco Engineering and Manufacturing has over 50 years of experience and knowledge, which translates into a valuable resource in the material handling industry. Many options are available including:
